Fire at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple on Holi leaves 13 priests injured
PTC News Desk: Tragedy struck on the auspicious occasion of Holi as a fire broke out at the revered Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The incident occurred during the sacred bhasma aarti ceremony inside the temple's sanctum sanctorum, leading to injuries to at least 13 priests.
The District Collector, Neeraj Singh, confirmed the unfortunate event, stating that the fire erupted during the bhasma aarti ritual within the 'garbhagriha' of the temple. Immediate medical assistance was provided to the injured priests, who were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
