Fed husband sedative, killed him: How woman along with her lover orchestrated the murder ?
PTC News Desk: A Merchant Navy officer was found dead in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut and his body was chooped and stuffed into a cement-filled drum. The accused—his wife Muskan Rastogi (27) and her lover Sahil Shukla (25)—not only meticulously planned 29-year-old Saurabh Rajput’s murder, but after executing the gruesome act, went on a vacation to Himachal Pradesh.
Investigators disclosed that Muskan and Sahil had plotted Saurabh's murder as early as November of the previous year, aiming to eliminate him so they could be together. Their initial attempt in February failed, but they persisted. Eventually, on March 4, they executed their plan.
According to a report, Muskan had sent her six-year-old daughter to her grandmother's house before the murder.
To ensure Saurabh was defenseless, Muskan laced his food with sedatives. Once he was unconscious, she guided Sahil’s hand as he plunged a chicken-cutting knife into Saurabh’s chest.
Following the stabbing, they gruesomely slit his throat and severed his hands.
Recently Saurabh had returned to Meerut from London where he was working. Cops have revealed that he told his family that he was stationed in the Merchant Navy, but in reality he worked in a bakery in London. Saurabh and Muskan had a love marriage in 2016. The couple have been living in a rented house with their six-year-old daughter for the past three years.
