PTC News Desk: A harrowing incident unfolded in Kota, Rajasthan, as a student hailing from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, and enrolled in a coaching institute in the education hub, was abducted on Sunday. The kidnappers have demanded a hefty ransom of Rs 30 lakh from the girl's family in exchange for her release.

The gravity of the situation escalated when the kidnappers sent distressing photographs of the student allegedly tied with ropes to her father. In these chilling images, the kidnappers conveyed their demand for ransom, leaving the father in a state of shock and desperation.

The distraught father recounted, "My daughter attends coaching classes in Vigyan Nagar and resides in a rented accommodation nearby. She had spoken to me on Sunday night after completing an exam at the coaching center. However, on Monday, I received alarming images of her in captivity, accompanied by the ransom demand. They even provided an account number for the transfer of funds."

Reportedly, the abducted student, an aspirant for the NEET examination, had relocated to Kota in September of the previous year to pursue her academic aspirations.
