Farmer pleads on the floor as mafia seizes his land | Watch
PTC News Desk: Officers and guests were watching an elderly guy in a rough, threadbare dhoti roll around on the floor of the Collectorate office, folding his hands and asking again, "What should we do now?" The video, which was shot inside the Collectorate office in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, depicts a distraught farmer pleading with the local mafia to stop their unlawful occupancy of his land.
Shankarlal, the farmer, claimed that nothing had been done about his repeated complaints, so he decided to roll around the Collectorate's hallways to get attention.

Shankarlal expressed his dissatisfaction by saying, "The land mafia is bothering me." The farmer is harmed by the Tehsildar's error. They make the error, and the fallout hits me. I don't like the administration or the government. These cops are dishonest. Farmers are being duped, which is why we are so disturbed."
District Magistrate Dilip Yadav addressed the situation by stating, "Every case that comes in the public hearing is resolved immediately."
He added that the cases from the earlier public hearings were also examined. He stated that a large number of individuals attended the hearing on Tuesday, and their concerns were heard and addressed as much as possible.

The local government made it clear that the land in question had been possessed by the plaintiff. The land is currently owned by Shankar and his family. According to the statement, the buyer has not yet occupied half of the land that sharecroppers previously sold.
The Tehsildar's investigative report, which was based on documentation from the local government, states that there are 2.5 hectares of land in Sukhad village, area number 604, and 1.01 hectares of land in survey number 625.
Shankarlal and his family, which includes Baba Ghasiram, Karu Lal, Ramlal, Prabhu Lal, Mangi Bai, and Parvati Bai, the children of Ghati, as well as Anokhilal, Bhagwan Bhai, and Resham Bhai, sons of Phoolchand, jointly own this land.
According to a sale deed dated December 31, 2010, one Ashwin, a Mandsaur resident and son of Narayan Rao, purchased half of this land. In the 2010–11 transfer registry, the then-Tehsildar, Sitamau, accepted the transfer of the aforementioned land. Nevertheless, Karu Lal, Ramlal, Prabhu Lal, Mangi Bai, and Parvati Bai still own the auctioned land and are unwilling to give it to Ashwin.
