Eid-ul-Adha celebrations 2023: The Muslim community in India is joyfully celebrating the festival of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) with great enthusiasm. In Delhi's Jama Masjid, Muslims gathered to offer Namaz, followed by warm embraces and heartfelt Eid greetings. To ensure safety and security, the police administration has implemented adequate measures outside mosques.
Bakrid holds religious significance as a time of sacrifice and devotion, with Hazrat Ibrahim being central to its observance. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha, prominent leaders of the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have extended their wishes to the nation.
President Draupadi Murmu took to Twitter, congratulating the countrymen, especially the Muslim community, on Eid-ul-Zuha. She highlighted the festival's message of love, compassion, and sacrifice, encouraging everyone to embrace selflessness and serve humanity. Murmu urged people to foster mutual brotherhood and harmony within society.
