Economic Survey highlights strengths, identifies areas for further growth: PM Modi
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the Economic Survey highlights the economy's strengths and identifies areas for further growth and progress.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey 2023-24, including a statistical appendix, to the Lok Sabha on Monday.
Taking to X, the Prime Minister said, "The Economic Survey highlights the prevailing strengths of our economy and also showcases the outcomes of the various reforms our Government has brought. It also identifies areas for further growth and progress as we move towards building a Viksit Bharat."
The Economic Survey is an annual document presented by the government ahead of the Union Budget that examines the state of the economy. The document also provides an overview of the economy's short- and medium-term prospects.
