Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, second time in a week
New Delhi, January 5: Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and adjacent areas on Thursday, the second time in a week.
According to the NCS, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Fayzabad, Afghanistan. The quake occurred 200 kilometres beneath the earth's surface. The tremors began around 8 p.m.
Early, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck Delhi-NCR in the early hours of Sunday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
