Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 strikes Araria in Bihar
Araria, April 12: A quake with a magnitude of 4.3 rocked Araria in Bihar in the early hours of Wednesday morning. This was reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) in a tweet.
The NCS specified that the earthquake occurred at 5:35 am IST with a depth of 10 kilometres. Furthermore, the National Centre for Seismology declared that the epicentre of the earthquake was located 140 kilometres southwest of Siliguri in West Bengal.

Prior to this, an earthquake of 5.3 magnitude on the Ritcher scale was reported on Sunday, 9th April in Nicobar Island. This was reported by the National Centre for Seismology at 4:01 pm.
