Drug peddler Sunil Yadav shot dead in California, Goldy Brar gang claims responsibility
A notorious drug smuggler Sunil Yadav alias ‘Goli’, who as associated with Lawrence Bishnoi was shot dead in California's Stockton city on Monday. Rohit Godara who is reportedly associated with Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the killing.
In a Facebook post, the Godara and Brar gangs claimed that they killed Yadav as he got Ankit Bhadu killed in an encounter along with Punjab Police. Both the Godara and Brar gangs accused Yadav and his aides of facilitating drugs to youth of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan in connivance with the police.
The deceased Sunil Yadav had fled to US two years ago using a fake passport in the name of ‘Rahul’ from Delhi. Yadav was considered top gun in the drug cartel and had worked at an international level, first in Dubai and then in the US.
The gangs claimed that Yadav and his aides fled to the US "with the help of police" out of fear of getting killed following Bhadu's killing in an encounter in 2019. They also warned that they would target their enemies in any corner of the world.
"After going there, they started spying on our brothers. They used to tell people what harm the group could do to us and that we were recruited by the intelligence and police. He used to inform the police about our brothers by claiming to be a part of our group," the post read.
