Divya Dutta expresses frustration over IndiGo flight cancellation, cites poor service and harassment
PTC Web Desk: Actress Divya Dutta recently shared her unpleasant experience with IndiGo Airlines on social media, revealing that her flight was cancelled without any prior notification. In an Instagram post, Divya Dutta expressed frustration over the lack of communication from the airline and the alleged unprofessional behaviour of the staff at the airport.
She wrote, "IndiGo, thank you for a very horrendous experience in the wee hrs!! No notification of a cancelled flight..am checked in on a cancelled flight. The flight announcement reflects at the gate! No staff to assist! Huge harassment at the gate to exit and no staff from Indigo was present...and the high-headed approach to the passengers! My shoot got affected and I am terribly upset!"
Divya’s complaint adds to a growing list of celebrity grievances with airlines. In the past, actors like Richa Chadha, Ranvir Shorey, Surbhi Chandna, and Radhika Apte have voiced similar issues. While Richa and Ranvir raised concerns about flight delays, Surbhi accused an airline of "mental harassment," and Radhika Apte shared that she was locked in an aerobridge for hours due to a flight delay.
Divya Dutta was last seen in 'Sharmajee Ki Beti', a Prime Video film exploring themes of women's empowerment and the daily challenges faced by middle-class women. The film starred Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, and Sharib Hashmi among others, and delved into the lives of women from different generations.
Up next, Divya will be seen in 'Chhaava', alongside Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Chhaava is set to release on December 6. Divya Dutta will also appear in the upcoming season of Prime Video’s 'Bandish Bandits Season 2'.
