Diljit Dosanjh lauds chess champion D Gukesh at Chandigarh concert; a special mention to Allu Arjun's Pushpa

PTC News Desk: Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh held it Dil-luminati concert in 'The City Beautiful' Chandigarh on December 14. He dedicated his concert to the youngest world chess champion D Gukesh.

The singer took to his social media and shared the video while praising the world's youngest chess champion. Diljit said, “I dedicate the show to Gukesh because he had thought of becoming a world champion, and he became one. Problems come; I am also facing them every day.”  



While dedicating this concert to chess champion, he also spoke about Allu Arjun's Pushpa and shared his experience of watching the film. He said that he loved the film and referred to the famous dialogue of the franchise. “Jhukega nahi”. Referring to it, Diljit joked, “Saala nahi jhukega toh kya jija jhuk jayega?” (If he won’t bow, will the brother-in-law bow?).

Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann's wife also attened the concert. Not to mention before the concert, Chandigarh Commission for protection of Chil Rights issued an advisory tot eh singer prohibiting him from singing songs promoting alcohol, drugs. The advisory also restricted the singer from modifying these songs that had alcohol references.  The commission also banned inviting children on the stage during the concert. 

The last leg of the Dil-luminati tout will be held in Guwahati on December 29.
