Delhi rain: Severe waterlogging hits parts of Delhi after heavy rainfall
PTC News Desk: Parts of Delhi experienced severe waterlogging following heavy rainfall that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday. The intense downpour led to significant traffic congestion and made commuting difficult for residents across the city.
The Ashram Bridge area, in particular, was heavily affected by waterlogging, which disrupted normal traffic flow and caused considerable inconvenience. Similarly, Minto Road saw severe water accumulation, with several parked vehicles getting submerged under the rising water levels.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread light to moderate rainfall for Delhi and the southwest NCR region throughout the day. The IMD has issued a warning for a moderate-to-intense rainfall spell specifically over Central and East Delhi during the morning hours.

Additionally, the IMD has issued alerts for other regions in the country. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated locations in Uttarakhand. Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh are also anticipated to experience heavy rainfall at isolated spots. Furthermore, thunderstorms and lightning are forecasted for isolated areas in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
