Delhi Excise Policy Case: List of top leaders arrested in 'liquor scam'
Delhi Excise Policy Case: The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, bringing the total number of top leaders arrested in the Delhi excise policy case to four.
Arvind Kejriwal: The AAP head has become the first serving Chief Minister to face arrest. He is the party's third senior leader to be arrested in the case, raising concerns about the party's future, as he has insisted on continuing to run the government from behind bars. Kejriwal was arrested hours after the Delhi High Court denied him protection in the liquor policy case. He skipped nine summons issued by the ED.
Manish Sisodia: ED arrested former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on 9 March 2023 after questioning him for several hours inside the Tihar Jail.

Sanjay Singh: The Enforcement Directorate arrested AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on October 4, 2023, after questioning him for over 10 hours at his Delhi home in connection with a money laundering case involving the Delhi liquor policy.
K Kavitha: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was also arrested by ED a few days ago. ED has alleged that Kavitha "conspired" with top AAP leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia to gain favours in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy by paying ₹ 100 crore to the political party that rules Delhi.
