Delhi assembly elections: Congress announces 'Pyari Didi Yojna' assures Rs 2500 per month for women
PTC News Desk: In a bid to voo the voters of national capital, Congress party has announced 'Pyari Didi Yojna ' assuring Rs 2500 to every woman of Delhi. The party in a statement said that this amount will be given to women after coming to power in Delhi after winning the elections.
The development comes only a few days before the announcement of dates for state assembly elections.
The announcement was made by Karnataka deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar in the presence of party leadership.
"Today I have come here to launch the 'Pyaari Didi' scheme. I have full confidence that Congress will form the government in Delhi and we will give Rs 2,500 to women and this will be decided in the first cabinet meeting itself. On the same model that we have implemented in Karnataka," said Shivkumar.
