After being struck by a speeding Mercedes, a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run in Delhi's Ashram neighbourhood on Saturday morning. A manhunt for the accused has been started by the police.

PTC News Desk: In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Ashram area, a cyclist was killed after being struck by a speeding Mercedes in a hit-and-run accident. The cyclist, identified as Rajesh, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mercedes fled the scene immediately after the collision.

The accident occurred on Saturday morning when the high-speed Mercedes rammed into Rajesh, who was walking alongside his bicycle in the South East Delhi area. Eyewitnesses reported that the impact was severe, leading to the immediate death of the cyclist.


Following the incident, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) and have launched a manhunt for the driver of the vehicle, who remains at large. Authorities are actively reviewing CCTV footage from the area to track down the suspect and gather additional evidence related to the case.

The police have urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the driver or additional details about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
