Covid-19: India logs 175 cases in 24 hours
New Delhi, January 4: India recorded a total of 175 new cases of Coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
India's active caseload currently stands at 2,570, with active cases at a rate of 0.01 percent, based on the last 24 hours of Covid-19 infection. According to the Health Ministry, the country has recorded a total of 187 infection recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,41,45,854. The current recovery rate in India is 98.8 percent, according to the report.
It went on to say that the country's daily and weekly positivity rates were 0.09 percent and 0.12 percent, respectively.
"220.11 cr Total Vaccine doses (95.13 cr Second Dose and 22.41 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 48,292 doses were administered in the last 24 hours," the health ministry said.
According to the ministry, 91.13 crores Covid tests have been conducted so far, with 2,01,690 conducted in the last 24 hours.
