Noida shocker: College youngsters brutally murder friend, buried body after party brawl

Noida shocker: In horrific, dreadful and spine-chilling incident, Noida police unearthed a disturbing crime wherein it has been discovered that four young individuals murdered a friend following a party brawl and buried his body in a field. 

The deceased has been identified as Yash Mittal, the son of a businessman and a first-year BBA student at a Noida-based university who was reported missing from his hostel since Monday. 

The incident came into the limelight, when Yash’s father informed the police about receiving ransom messages demanding Rs 6 crore for his son's release.

Taking a swift action into the case, when police reviewed the CCTV footage, it has been observed that Yash left the university campus while speaking over the phone. 

Upon examining Yash’s phone records, police traced his calls to his friend Rachit. On questioning him, police learnt that Yash would often hang out with Rachit, Shivam, Sushant and Shubham.
As per the reports, Yash’s friends called Yash to a field in Gajraula, located about 100 km away from Amroha in Uttar Pradesh for party.  

However, a brawl broke out which resulted in Yash’s death and youngsters buried Yash’s body in the field. After investigation by police, Rachit disclosed the location and the police recovered the body.

Investigating into the case, the police managed to apprehend the other suspects in Dadri. Three of the accused have been arrested, while one, identified as Shubham is on the run. 
As per the statement by police officials, accused confessed to sending ransom messages to mislead Yash's family. 

The Dadri Police Station, along with the SWAT team, retrieved Yash Mittal's body from the pit in the presence of his family members. Post-mortem procedures are currently being carried out by the Gajraula Police.
