PTC News Desk: The District Child Protection Unit in Ahmedabad has issued a notice to Coldplay ahead of its concert. The unit has cautioned the British rock band Coldplay against involvement of children on the stage. The band including 


The highly anticipated concert is scheduled to be held on January 25 and 26, 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The directive emphasizes child safety and outlines clear rules to be followed during the event and the organisers have been sternly warned not to involve children on stage during the performance.

Strict guidlines have been issued to ensure no child enters the venue without earplugs. The Unit emphasised that sound levels exceeding 120 decibels could harm children's health, and failure to comply could result in strict action. The notice comes after a complaint filed by a resident of Chandigarh.

The Coldplay will also be performing in Mumbai besides Gujarat. The band's India tour comes after nine years.

The DCPU has strictly warned that failure to comply with the guidlines will lead to strict legal and administrative action against the organisers. The notice aims to ensure child safety and uphold their rights in high-decibel environments.
