Caught on camera: Drunk BMW driver collides with scooter rider, video goes viral
Hyderabad, July 07: In a shocking incident captured on a security camera, a drunk woman driving a BMW in Hyderabad struck a civic body employee riding a scooter in the Banjara Hills area. The CCTV footage of the accident has since gone viral on social media, raising concerns about road safety.
The injured man, an employee of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. This incident follows another recent tragedy in the city where two women and a child were killed by a car while out for a morning walk. The driver of the car involved in that incident, along with three other occupants who fled the scene, has been apprehended by authorities.
According to officials, the BMW driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident, which occurred when the scooter rider was slowing down. The CCTV footage clearly shows the car approaching from the opposite direction and colliding with the scooter. The impact of the collision left the civic body employee injured and in need of medical attention.

In a separate incident that shocked the city, a car skidded and hit three pedestrians, resulting in the tragic deaths of two women and a child. The driver and three occupants of the car initially fled the scene but have since been arrested by authorities.
The viral video of the accident showcases the car losing control and striking the pedestrians before crashing into nearby bushes.
