BJP takes a dig at Kejriwal's CM residence, calls it 'sheesh mahal'; AAP hits back
PTC News Desk: Ahead of the Delhi assembly elections in February 2025, BJP has taken potshots over ruling government Aam Aadmi Party. BJP has accused former chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal of building a '7 Star Resort' for himself with public funds.
The bungalow, located at 6 Flag Staff Road, was previously occupied by Arvind Kejriwal before Atishi became the chief minister. The saffron party has taken a dig over the lavish residence calling it a 'sheesh mahal' which signifies luxury.
Virendraa Sachdeva, president of the Delhi BJP, took to social media to level the charges. “We have been telling you the truth about the glass palace of debauchery of the person who calls himself a common man, Arvind Kejriwal. Today, we will show it to you too! He has built a 7-star resort for himself by embezzling public money!” Sachdeva said in a post on X, sharing detailed accusations of the bungalow’s lavish features.

In response to the charges, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia came in Kejriwal's defence and hit back at BJP. "BJP is concerned about a few crores spent on a house, but they have looted thousands of crores meant for schools. Where is that money?” Sisodia questioned.
Manish Sisodia further slammed BJP for using house as a diversion from the key issues. “People are asking about the future of children and the lack of infrastructure in schools, but the BJP has no answer. Instead, they keep talking about Kejriwal’s bungalow,” Sisodia added. He expressed his sympathy for the BJP’s leadership, saying, “They have no work to show. I pity them,” he further added.
