Bihar: Opposition slams CM Nitish Kumar over national anthem row, seeks apology
PTC News Desk: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar once again embroiled in controversy after he was caught on camera laughing and talking during the national anthem at a sports event in Patna.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday condemned Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while calling the incident "disrespectful." Yadav expressed his shame, stating, "being a 'Bihari,' I feel ashamed." Yadav accused him of insulting the state and the nation.

Meanwhile Opposition parties in Bihar, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal on Friday protested against the NDA government in both the houses, legislative assembly and the council, over the alleged insult to the national anthem by chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Misa Bharti raised questions on his mental and physical health and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah should think in whose hands Bihar is.
"During the national anthem, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar did not look physically and mentally well. I want to ask PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah whether you found his mental state to be fine... He keeps insulting women, children every day... PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah should think in whose hands Bihar is," she said.
