PTC News Desk: On Thursday, Bihar deputy chief minister Vijay Kumar Sinha asserted that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's assistant was involved in the purported paper leaks and inconsistencies in NEET-UG 2024.
At a press conference in Patna, Vijay Kumar Sinha claimed that on May 1 and 4, Pritam Kumar—the personal secretary of Tejashwi Yadav while he was a minister—got in touch with a worker at the Bihar road construction department to reserve a room for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, the engineer who was involved in the NEET-UG question paper leak.
"To reserve a room for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, Pritam Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav's personal secretary, called Pradip Kumar on May 1.To reserve the accommodation, Pritam Kumar contacted Pradip Kumar once more on May 4, according to Sinha.
"Pritam Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav's personal secretary when he was a minister in the previous government, used the term'mantri ji,'" he continued.
The BJP leader questioned Tejashwi Yadav on Pritam Kumar's continued role as his personal secretary.

Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, a junior engineer working for the Danapur Nagar Parishad in Bihar, wrote a confession letter that fueled the ongoing scandal surrounding the NEET-UG 2024 exam.
India Today claims that a "Mantri Ji" allegedly made arrangements for an engineer's relative who was applying for NEET, his mother, and other acquaintances to stay at a Patna government mansion. Yadavendu allegedly acknowledged in his confession to having helped four NEET applicants and one of their guardians find housing in Patna. A "Mantri Ji" was named in the guest house's rudimentary bill book, and it was said that he helped Yadav and his friends stay.
