Scheduled to take place at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam, the event will span from Monday to Thursday, showcasing the prowess of India's textile sector and reinforcing its status as a key player in the global textile industry. The grand inauguration of Bharat Tex - 2024 is slated for 10:30 am on Monday morning.

What is Bharat Tex - 2024?

Bharat Tex - 2024, as described by a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday, is a monumental event organised by a consortium comprising 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and backed by the central government. The event draws inspiration from Prime Minister Modi’s visionary 5F Vision, emphasising a seamless journey from farm to foreign markets via fiber, fabric, and fashion.

This groundbreaking event is set to host over 65 knowledge sessions featuring more than 100 esteemed global panelists, engaging in discussions on various pertinent issues within the textile sector.

Bharat Tex - 2024 will boast dedicated pavilions spotlighting sustainability and circularity, alongside an 'Indi Haat' showcasing indigenous craftsmanship. Furthermore, attendees can anticipate captivating fashion presentations spanning diverse themes such as Indian Textiles Heritage, sustainability, and global design trends. Interactive fabric testing zones and product demonstrations will also be integral components of the event, providing hands-on experiences for visitors.

The anticipated attendance includes global CEOs, policymakers, over 3,500 exhibitors, and 3,000 buyers hailing from over 100 countries. Additionally, the event is expected to draw in excess of 40,000 business visitors, encompassing textile students, weavers, artisans, and textile workers alike. With such diverse participation, Bharat Tex - 2024 promises to be a pivotal gathering fostering innovation, collaboration, and progress within the textile industry.
