Ayodhya witnesses huge rush as Ram Temple thrown open for public darshan

PTC News Desk: A vast crowd flocked to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as the majestic temple welcomed devotees for prayers on Tuesday, following the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla. Devotees, eager for a glimpse of the new idol, gathered as early as 3 am, marking the first morning after the consecration.

The 'pran pratishtha' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, marked by elaborate celebrations, was conducted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the main rituals alongside a select group of priests. To facilitate devotees in seeking darshan of Lord Ram Lalla, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website allocated specific time slots, with morning hours from 7 am to 11:30 am and the afternoon slot from 2 pm to 7 pm.

The 'aarti' timings, including jagran/shringar at 6:30 am and sandhya aarti at 7:30 pm, are also provided. Passes for the 'aarti' can be obtained both offline and online, with the former available at the camp office at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi, requiring a valid government identity proof.

The 'pran pratishtha' ceremony for Lord Ram took place at 12:29 pm on Monday, following a seven-day ritual that commenced on January 16. Attendees included people from diverse backgrounds, representing various tribal communities, as well as prominent spiritual and religious leaders invited to partake in the consecration ceremony.

Towering 161 feet above the ground, it is supported by 392 pillars and features 44 doors. The temple's pillars and walls showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses.
