Apple iPhone 16 series sale kick-starts in India amid long queues at Delhi and Mumbai stores
PTC News Desk: The highly anticipated sale of Apple’s iPhone 16 series officially began today, September 20, with eager customers flocking to Apple Stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Hundreds of excited fans were seen lining up outside Apple Saket in Delhi and Apple BKC in Mumbai, as they waited to purchase the latest iPhone models.
In Delhi, a long line formed early in the morning outside Apple Saket, with many buyers hoping to be among the first to own one of the new iPhone 16 models, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Some enthusiasts arrived hours before the store opened to secure their spot.
Meanwhile, at Apple BKC in Mumbai, the excitement was even greater, with a massive crowd gathering outside. Reports suggest some fans had been waiting since the previous evening to ensure they were first in line. As the stores opened their doors, both locations kicked off the sale with Apple’s traditional countdown, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The iPhone 16 series, which features four models—the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max—has introduced larger displays, enhanced performance, and upgraded cameras for the Pro models. However, Apple’s new Intelligence features will not be available out of the box with this release.
For those unable to make it to the stores, the iPhone 16 series is now available across India through Apple’s official online store, retail locations, and authorized resellers. Fans can also purchase the new iPhones through platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other outlets.
