PTC News Desk: According to Mumbai police, a 28-year-old man was struck by a speeding luxury car in Mumbai and later died from his injuries.

Vinod Lad, the victim, passed away seven days following the tragedy, according to the Worli Police. Kiran Indulkar, the driver, has been arrested by the police after they filed a case against him.

Lad was struck by a speeding vehicle on Abdul Gaffar Khan Road, close to Worli Sea Link, on July 20. On Saturday, July 27, during his therapy, he passed away. The incident happened a few weeks after a similar hit-and-run in Worli, Mumbai, where a 45-year-old woman was killed when a speeding luxury sedan collided with a scooter on Dr. Annie Besant Road.

A woman was killed earlier on July 7 in Mumbai's Worli neighborhood after her husband's expensive automobile collided with the bike she was riding. Worli Koliwada resident Kaveri Nakhwa (45) was identified as the deceased woman. The spouse of the deceased was hospitalized for treatment after sustaining injuries.

"Two bike riders were struck by a BMW. In this instance, the woman passed away, and the other person was hurt. The incident happened this morning at 5:30 a.m. when the bike-riding couple passed in front of Worli's Atria Mall, according to a statement from the Mumbai Police.

On July 16, Mihir Shah, the defendant in the Worli hit-and-run case, appeared before the Sewri court for additional remand procedures. He was then placed in judicial prison for a period of 14 days, ending on July 30.

The judge rejected the police's request for the accused to remain in police custody longer.

Shah allegedly refused to provide important information regarding his actions and locations following the crime during the course of the inquiry, according to the police. He did not say why he ran from the scene, where he threw away the license plate from his car, or who the people were that he claimed to have been hiding from while he was on the run.
