Mulayam Singh Yadav's loss is irreplaceable, says Partap Singh Bajwa
Chandigarh, October 10: Expressing deepest condolences to the family and the followers on the demise of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, Punjab Leader of Opposition and Senior Congress Leader, Partap Singh Bajwa on Monday said that he was a great politician and remained the centre of the state as well as the national politics. His loss is irreplaceable in the political and social arena.
LoP Bajwa said that he was elected 10 times as MLA and 7 times as Lok Sabha MP. He served as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh thrice and as the Defence Minister in the United Front government in the 1990s.

He said that Mulayam Singh Yadav devoted his entire life to uplifting the weaker and backward sections and played a crucial role in the development of UP. He was respected by the leaders of all the parties and throughout his political career of around six decades, he was also called 'Neta Ji' by his followers in the UP.
Partap Singh Bajwa said that Mulayam Singh Yadav has been a significant Samajwadi figure, who respected all religions. His exceptional contribution to Indian Polity will always be remembered. “I pray to God for the peace of the departed soul and strength to the Yadav family", said LoP Bajwa.
