Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst dies at 30, suicide suspected
Former Miss USA winner Cheslie Kryst (30) was found dead in suspicious circumstances at her apartment building on early Sunday morning. As per the report, Cheslie Kryst was found on the sidewalk outside her condominium building in Manhattan and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 30-year-old, former Miss USA 2019 pageant winner, was a former complex civil litigation attorney and licensed to practice law in North and South Carolina and EXTRA host. She was discovered dead at the street and identified afterward. Shortly before her suicide, she posted on Instagram stating “May this day bring you rest and peace”. The family of former Miss USA issued a statement and said, "In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined." "Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on Extra. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague -- we know her impact will live on. As we reflect on our loss, the family asks for privacy at this time," the statement further read. During her competition of grabbing the title of Miss USA 2019, she also summarized her next generation as "I'm standing here in Nevada, in the state that has the first female majority legislature in the entire country."
