Ministry of Railways announces 39 new special trains [Check List]
Indian Railways: The Ministry of Railways on Wednesday announced that the railway board has given approval to zones for 39 new trains. These services will be introduced as special services from an early convenient date. The Ministry of Railways desired that the special trains announced should be introduced as a special service. These include 13 air-conditioned trains. The date of operation for new special trains is yet to be declared by the government. The Lucknow-New Delhi and Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express trains were suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, both the trains are expected to restart their operations from October 17. IRCTC conducted an extensive training programme to educate its team of Tejas Trains to manage the operations of the trains and provide services according to the ‘new normal’ amid the Covid-19 pandemic. -PTC News
