Mining mafia attacks police team in Nuh again
Nuh, September 9: Just two months after the killing of a DSP in Haryana's Nuh, the mining mafia yet again attacked a joint team of the mining department and police, sources said on Friday. The team had gone to Baded village on a tip-off and seized three machines. The miners mounted the hills and pelted stones at the police. A cop was injured during the attack. The police have registered a case against at least 50 people and have identified five of them. During the raid, three excavation machines were seized, while the men fled the spot. As per the sources, raids were being conducted in nearby villages to apprehend the accused. Earlier on July 19, the mining mafia mowed down Deputy Superintendent of Police Surendra Singh Bishnoi by a truck. The incident occurred when the DSP was investigating illegal mining in Nuh.
