MHA clears name of former Punjab DGP VK Bhawra for Central deputation
Chandigarh, September 15: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the names of former Punjab DGP VK Bhawra, a 1987-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer, for the Central deputation. The Ministry has also cleared the names of Harpreet Singh Sidhu, a 1992-batch Punjab cadre IPS officer, to the Central deputation at the Additional Director General of Police level. The officers would be appointed by the Central Government based on the availability of appropriate vacancies.
