Major chaos took place in the City Beautiful, Chandigarh amid the bomb threat in Elante Mall on Monday. However, it was reported, that the police conducted the mock drill in the mall ahead of the Independence Day 2019, which is a few days away. As per reports, there were major rumors of having a bomb in the Elante mall, which led to the chaos. Likewise, the police rushed to the spot and evacuated the entire mall. Meanwhile, the mall is counted as the ninth largest shopping mall in India and the second in northern India. Likewise, India's Intelligence agencies have warned the security forces of terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed planning massive terror attack at the religious places or the public places.
