Ludhiana based bakery 'Belfrance' to give free pastries to the citizens casting vote
Ludhiana, February 19: With just one day left for the assembly election in Punjab, poll officials are encouraging eligible people to cast their votes. Supporting the cause, a Ludhiana based bakery 'Belfrance' has decided to offer free pastries for the people who will exercise their franchise on the polling day. 'Belfrance Bakers and Chocolatiers' has prepared more than 1000 pastries to promote voting in Punjab elections which are taking place on Sunday, February 20. Belfrance' owner Harjinder Singh Kukreja, explained that any customers who cast vote and shows the ink mark will get a free mini pastry from Belfrance. "Show your ink mark and get a free mini pastry from Belfrance," read the poster shared by the bakery on its social media handle. It is worth noting that this is not the first time Belfrance has taken an initiative for a social cause Belfrance Bakers & Chocolatiers had prepared a beautiful 50-kg cake with ‘Turkish evil eye' and also hung lemon and green chillies on the cake to symbolise protection in 2022.
