Bringing the much-needed relief, the Oil Marketing companies on Wednesday, 1 June 2022, announced to reduce the prices of the 19 kg commercial cylinder.

From Wednesday, the 19 kg commercial cylinder will be cheaper by Rs 135 cheaper. In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will cost Rs 2,219 instead of Rs 2,354 every bottle, while in Kolkata, it will cost Rs 2,322 instead of Rs 2,454, in Mumbai, Rs 2,171.50 instead of Rs 2,306, and in Chennai, Rs 2,373 instead of Rs 2,507 per bottle.
On May 19, both domestic and commercial LPG cylinder rates were raised in the country. This was the second time in a month that the cost of cooking had gone up. The price of a 14 kg home cylinder has increased by Rs 3.50, while the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has climbed by Rs 8.

It was widely assumed that oil marketing organisations will announce a price change for LPG today (June 1). This year has seen an increase in international oil prices, which has recently been reflected in the pricing of gasoline, diesel, ATF, and LPG. In light of the recent increase in worldwide oil prices, it has been suggested that LPG prices may be raised as well.
