US President Donald Trump on Friday described the air in India, China and Russia as "filthy". The statement comes during the Final US Presidential Debate 2020, when he was defending his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord, which, he said, would have made America a non-competitive nation. "Look at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia. Look at India. The air is filthy. I walked out of the Paris Climate Accord as we had to take out trillions of dollars and we were treated very unfairly," he said during US Presidential Debate 2020 with Joe Biden. There were some of the users urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give strong response to Trump. However, the opposition leaders like Kapil Sibal used Trump's remarks to take a dig at PM Modi, who has often called Trump as "friend". Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, said in a tweet: "What an unfortunate comment to make about India, Donald Trump. Reminder: India stands committed to climate change goals, US chose to withdraw, much against the wishes of many Americans. Thank you."
