Viral: Woman orders electric toothbrush worth Rs 12,000 on Amazon, receives chat masala boxes
PTC Digital Desk: In a bizarre incident, a woman, who had placed an order with Amazon for an electric toothbrush worth Rs 12,000, was in for shock when she received chat masala boxes in its place.
Her daughter took to her Twitter handle and posted, "Dear Amazon India, why haven't you removed a seller who's been scamming buyers for over a year?"

She further mentioned that since her mother had opted for cash on delivery, she got suspicious on finding the package lighter. She opened it before handing over the cash to the delivery man. She said though they were saved from being duped of, they flagged the concern with Amazon which continue to allow such vendors to sell their products online.

Amid hectic schedule, most people opt to go in for online shipping for their daily as well as primary needs. However, with it, also comes pros and cons. Several instances of people being duped by online sellers have surfaced. There have also been instances, wherein customers complained of having received brick in place of cellphone ordered online.
