'Legend turns 29': Sidhu Moosewala’s fans get emotional; pay tributes in unique way
Chandigarh, June 11: Slain Punjabi Rapper Sidhu Moosewala returned to trending big time on social media on Saturday, the day he would have turned a year older if he had not been killed approximately two weeks ago in a broad daylight very near to his hometown Mansa in Punjab.
His untimely death has left a void in the heart of his fans as social media is flooded with special wishes as fans are showering immense love on the late singer, sharing the popular songs sung by the singer and paying heartfelt tributes on his death anniversary.

Bollywood and the Punjabi film industry also remembered him. His energetic songs and persona have completely transformed the music industry. He was one of the most famous Punjabi singers of his generation and carried a massive fan following. He also received love from international artists like Drake.
His fans took to their social media handles and paid their heartfelt tributes. Fans took to their Twitter handles and flooded them with heartwarming messages for the singer.
One of the fans wrote, "Your Voice Will Always Rule our Hearts.. Happy Birthday in Heaven Jatta Rest in power There is no one like you Legend! #HBDSidhuMoosewala #JusticeForSidhuMooseWala" while another wrote, "His life may have been short, but his presence was enormous, and his memory will live on in everyone's hearts.@iSidhuMooseWala #HBDSidhuMoosewala.”
On the other side, a 12-year-old girl named Sara from Jalandhar also paid tribute to legend Moosewala by making a portrait of Sidhu using marigold flowers and cream. She made a portrait by sticking the petals of marigold flowers with milk cream on the paper which took her about 3 hours to make it.
In an emotional situation, fans also gathered around Sidhu Moosewala’s memorial for offering prayers and flowers.
In his memory, Tushar Sharma, a B.Com student has made a photograph of Moosewala with waste paper and fevicol which was being appreciated by all.
Moosewala’s fans were also seen holding various posters and flags wearing t-shirts with Sidhu's picture printed on it.

Meanwhile, Famous Punjabi singer Mika Singh who turned 47 on Friday. Singer paid tribute to late Sidhu Moose Wala and KK abstained from celebrating his birthday. He asserted that they were family to him and he is still grieving their deaths.
