Lawrence Bishnoi's remand extended, police to grill gangster for 4 more days
Sri Muktsar Sahib, July 28: Malout court on Thursday extended the remand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi by four days. The notorious gangster was produced before the court after his seven-day police remand ended on July 28. Lawrence Bishnoi is being questioned in connection to the 2020 Ranjit Singh Rana murder case. Lawrence Bishnoi was produced in the court amid high security. Meanwhile, Moga Police arrived to take over the custody of the gangster. Also Read | Centre floats tender to develop monkeypox vaccine, diagnostic kits Malout resident Ranjit Singh Rana, 37, was killed on October 22, 2020, while driving to Aulakh village in Muktsar with his wife Rajvir Kaur. Ranjit Singh Rana was charged with a number of crimes. Four people, considered close to Bishnoi, fired at him while travelling in a Swift car, killing him on the spot.
