Lata Mangeshkar's health condition deteriorating; doctors ask fans to pray for her
Lata Mangeshkar Covid-19: Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's health condition is deteriorating, said the doctors while urging her fans to pray for her speedy recovery.
For the unversed, Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital after she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and pneumonia a few days ago.
Dr. Pratit Samdani, who's treating her at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, said that "Singer Lata Mangeshkar needs care, which is why she'll remain under doctors' supervision in ICU for a few more days. Her condition is the same as before; no one's allowed to meet her yet."

After learning about Lata Mangeshkar's health condition, several fans and members from the film industry and other fields took to social media to wish her a speedy recovery.
"Prayers for your speedy recovery @mangeshkarlata," Abhishek Bachchan tweeted.
Reportedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also enquired about the health of Lata Mangeshkar.
Earlier, Dr Pratit Samdani had informed, "She has both Covid-19 and pneumonia. Due to old age, it will take time to recover properly."
Lata Mangeshkar, 92, was admitted to the ICU of Breach Candy Hospital after she tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago. She got in touch with one of her staff members, who was also Covid-19 positive.
The singer was earlier hospitalised in 2019 as well for a serious lung ailment and pneumonia.
