Kim Kardashian Divorce Kanye West: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West, her publicist told AFP on Friday.
Kim Kardashian's divorce proceedings come weeks after the US media reported that the couple was living separately and going through counseling dealing with "relationship issues."

Celebrity gossip site TMZ broke the news regarding Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kanye West.
Reportedly, Kardashian, 40, has asked for joint custody of the couple's four children -- North, Chicago, Saint, Psalm. Kardashian's publicist confirmed that the divorce has been filed but did not provide further details.

The couple is one of the world's most instantly recognizable couples. There were several reports that their marriage was on the rocks as Kanye West battled mental health issues and even launched an improbable and controversial foray into US politics.
West also opened up about his struggles with bipolar disorder.
Also, West posted a series of tweets, later deleted, accusing his wife and mother-in-law of trying to lock him up and suggested that he was seeking a divorce.
