SSC Officer Recruitment 2024: The Indian Navy has invited applications for Short Service Commission Officers for various entries. Eligible unmarried men and women can apply for the Short Service Commission (SSC) for course beginning in June 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Kerala.
Applicants for General Service (GS (X)/ Hydro Cadre) must have a BE/BTech degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60%.
Candidates for Pilot, Naval Air Operations Officer (Air Crew), and Air Traffic Controller must have a BE/BTech degree in any discipline and a minimum GPA of 60%.
Applicants for Logistics must have a BE/BTech in any subject with First Class, an MBA with First Class, a BSc/BCom/BSc (IT) with First Class, and a PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management, or an MCA/MSc with First Class.
Applications are invited for Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC), Education, Engineering Branch {General Service (GS)}, and Electrical Branch {General Service (GS)}. Selected candidates will be granted a Short Service Commission for a period of 10 years, which can be extended for up to four years in two terms based on service requirements, performance, medical eligibility, and candidate willingness.
