Four MBBS seats reserved for families of terrorism victims in Central pool
PTC Web Desk: The Ministry of Home Affairs has set aside four MBBS seats from the Central Pool for the academic year 2024-25, specifically for the nomination of candidates who are the spouse or children of civilians affected by terrorism, either deceased or disabled.
Providing details on the allocation, an official spokesperson from the state government shared that one seat each will be available at AN Magadh Medical College in Gaya, Bihar, and Grant Medical College in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The remaining two seats are allocated to Pt. JNM Medical College in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The spokesperson added that eligible students from Punjab can also apply for these reserved seats. To qualify, candidates must be Indian nationals and must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission, or must turn 17 on or before December 31 of the admission year.
