JeM terrorist reveals he 'recced' NSA Ajit Doval's office, security agencies on high alert
NSA on High Alert after Ajit Doval office recced: A Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist, currently in police custody, revealed that he had 'recced' National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval's office and other high-value targets in Delhi on the instructions of his Pakistan-based handlers. Soon after the disclosure, the security agencies around National Security Advisor (NSA) has been put on high alert. He is a resident of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir who was arrested on February 6. A detailed video emerged during interrogation in which it could be seen how NSA Chief Ajit Doval’s office was recced by JeM terrorists. Also Read | Anupamaa actor tests positive for COVID-19, confirms producer As per the report, Hidayat said that he took a flight from Srinagar to New Delhi, on May 24, 2019, to record a video of the NSA’s office. The task was to provide security detail of the CISF personnel deployed there. Hidayat shared the video via WhatsApp to his Pakistan-based handler. He has also disclosed the names, code names, and phone numbers of 10 of his contacts in Pakistan including the handler. Ajit Doval, who has been a target of terror groups since the 2016 Uri surgical strikes and the 2019 Balakot attack. He is one of the most protected individuals in India.
