Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Air Force bases on high alert following intel of suicide attack by JeM terror module
Top government sources, on Wednesday, revealed that Intelligence agencies have issued a warning against a module of around 8-10 Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists, which will possibly try to carry out a suicide attack against Indian Air Force bases in and around Jammu and Kashmir. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1176707809515380736 IAF bases in Srinagar, Awantipora, Jammu, Pathankot and Hindon have been put on orange alert. Senior officers are reviewing security arrangements 24x7. The warning was sounded after agencies monitored movements of Jaish terrorists. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1176711073967173633 This comes in the wake of another warning issued last week, which stated that Jaish-e-Mohammed has started training 40 Jihadis to strike India. Information by intelligence agencies suggests that the 40 Jihadis are being trained to strike Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country. In the past few weeks, reports indicated that Pakistan would strike at various locations including Maharashtra, Gujarat and southern states.
