Jada Pinkett shares first post after Will-Chris slapgate, talks about 'healing'
Actor Jada Pinkett Smith has finally spoken out about her husband, Hollywood star Will Smith, and comedian Chris Rock's altercation at the 2022 Oscars.
The 94th Academy Awards live telecast was overshadowed by an incident in which Rock made a joke about Pinkett, and Smith retaliated by slapping the actor-comic on stage.
Days after the incident, actor Pinkett shared her first post talking about the "season of healing." "This is a season for healing and I'm here for it," she wrote.

The incident occurred when Rock, who was on stage to present the winners for the best documentary feature award, made a tasteless joke about Pinkett-Smith, saying she could star in a sequel to "G.I. Jane" in an apparent joke to her shaved head due to the autoimmune disorder alopecia.
In simpler words, Rock compared Pinkett's shaved head to Demi Moore's look in the 1997 movie 'G.I. Jane'.

Rock said he couldn't wait to see Pinkett Smith star in 'G.I. Jane 2' following which furious Smith leapt to his feet and smacked Rock in the face, leaving millions stunned. The actor went on to win the award for best actor for his role in the film "King Richard."
In his acceptance speech, the Hollywood star apologised to the Oscars organisers but not to Rock, who declined to seek charges against Smith.
Later on Monday, the "Bad Boys" star publicly issued a statement apologising to Rock on Instagram.
Meanwhile, the Academy criticised Smith's behaviour and began an official investigation into the incident, which will go down in Oscar history as one of the most shocking.
Chris Rock, on the other hand, has remained silent since the incident.
