Army's Apache helicopter makes emergency landing in Hoshiarpur
An Apache helicopter of the Indian Army made an emergency landing at Budhawar village in Hoshiarpur on Friday. According to the information, the helicopter had taken off from the Pathankot Army base and it had land in the Budhwar village fields due to some technical error. Meanwhile, both the pilots and the helicopter are safe. There was no damage to the village as well. The Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh stated that the helicopter had landed in the village field without any damage. Meanwhile, the police rushed to the spot and likewise, the information has been sent to the Army officials at the Pathankot Army base. Earlier on Thursday, a Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Air Force made a precautionary landing on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. As per the report, the aircraft was carrying coronavirus test samples to Chandigarh. Meanwhile, the chopper had returned to the Hindon airbase from where it had taken off. Likewise, a recovery aircraft for assistance was launched immediately from Hindon. The snag was rectified and the chopper flew back promptly.
