The sun was out at its peak until Wednesday. The rain appeared on the eve of the start of the WTC final. Unfortunately, Day 1 doesn't appear too different as rain is being predicted throughout Friday. It not only hampers the start time of the match but also threatens to wash the day out. ICC had put a reserve day in place, which means that if rain does indeed play spoilsport there would be a day to make up for the time lost. The forecast for days 2, 3, and 4 does not look optimistic either. However, the weather in England is so unpredictable. India has already named its playing XI for the match. Playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah Click here to follow PTC News on Twitter -PTC News
