Ind vs SL: Ishan Kishan ruled out of 3rd T20I after being hit on head
Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh), February 27: India wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan was ruled out of the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
Earlier on Saturday, Ishan Kishan was hit on the head while batting in the 2nd T2OI at Dharamsala.
"Accompanied by a Team Doctor, he was taken to a local hospital last night for a check-up where a CT scan was conducted. The findings of the CT scan are normal," informed BCCI ahead of the match.
However, "The BCCI Medical Team will continue to closely monitor his signs of concussion. Ishan is ruled out of the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka," it said in a statement.
For the unversed, Ishan was struck on his helmet during the fourth over bowled by Lahiri Kumara. The Indian batter quickly took off his helmet and was down on his haunches as concerned Sri Lanka cricketers instantly gathered around him and inquired about his well-being.
