IND vs AUS Gabba Test: Marnus Labuschagne's century boosts Australia on Day 1
IND vs AUS Gabba Test: A century by Marnus Labuschagne, fine bowling by T Natarajan, and fumbles by Team India are the key highlights of Day 1 of the last and final Test at the Gabba, Brisbane on Friday where Australia seems to be in a solid position as it ended Day 1 at 271/5. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.
While batting first, Australia lost its opener David Warner (1) who went back to the pavilion on the last ball of the first over of the Gabba Test. While Mohammed Siraj dismissed Warner, Washington Sundar trapped Marcus Harris (5) in the ninth over.

There was a time on Day 1 when Marnus Labuschagne hit a century and seemed to have taken the contest away from India. However, India's debutants T Natarajan and Washington Sundar showed their mettle in the Gabba Test.
Sundar took the wicket of Steve Smith (36) but it was T Natarajan who dismissed Matthew Wade (45) and centurion Labuschagne (108) that got India back in the contest.

Meanwhile, Cameron Green was benefited from a dropped catch by Shardul Thakur and made a solid partnership with skipper Tim Paine. Australia ended on 271/5 at stumps during the IND vs AUS Gabba Test.
For Team India, Natrajan took 2 wickets while Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar bagged one wicket each.
