Income Tax Dept raids Dolo-650 manufacturer Micro Lab office in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, July 6: The Income Tax Department on Wednesday conducted raids on the office of Dolo-650 manufacturer Micro Labs Limited.
At least 20 officers of the I-T Department raided the office of the Bengaluru-based pharmaceutical company located on the Race Course Road. Simultaneous raids were also conducted in 40 locations by 200 officers across the country, including New Delhi, Sikkim, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Goa. The residences of Micro Labs CMD Dileep Surana, Director Anand Surana were also being raided.

Vital documents have been collected from Micro Labs Limited office. It is learnt that the raids were being conducted in view of "tax evasion" by the company.
Amid the Covid waves, the company sold 350 crore tablets and earned revenues of Rs 400 crore in a year. The sales of Dolo 650 pill broke all records.
